Serving as Singles - UKhttp://www.penhurst.org.uk/programme.php?viewretreat=153 A celebration of singleness in ministry, this retreat will be an affirming time helping single mission partners to embrace their situation in life, look to Christ to provide our needs, and discuss strategies for coping with the difficult aspects of being single. There will be time for teaching, discussion, prayer, silence and laughter. Open to all singles involved in mission whether unmarried, divorced or widowed. Traction (CH)Traction is a 6-day experience coming September 21-27 2013 for men who serve in cross-cultural settings. This week of restoration is focused on helping men navigate their roles as leaders, in order to gain spiritual footing and momentum to move forward. Traction is designed to encourage cross-cultural workers who serve in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Breathe 2013 (CH)Breathe is a 10-day retreat intentionally created for the renewal and encouragement of North American and Western European singles, couples or families who serve cross-culturally and is intentionally created to give you space in a tranquil setting. Breathe is led by Dr. Daniel and Lori Hahn of Catalyst Int'l, an organization committed to supporting those who work in highly challenging global settings. Breathe is staffed by pastors, member care counselors, medical and massage professionals and others who care for those who work on the front lines. ELIM Renewal Retreats for Missionaries & Pastors - USABarnabas International and ELIM Retreat Ministries have posted dates for their 2013 Retreats on line at www.elimretreats.org ELIM Retreats are renewal retreats for missionary and pastoral singles and couples. They are 6 days in length. The retreats are low key but intentional times of spiritual renewal, recovery and revival for international global workers and for full time local church pastors. The focus is deepening in a love relationship with Jesus Christ. Quiet study times are oriented towards Scriptural themes that emphasise spiritual formation and personal debriefing of where we really are in terms of spiritual growth. The Retreats are not meant to provide deep psychological counselling, but preventive pastoral care, and physical, emotional and spiritual renewal. The Retreats should not be construed as a "vacation", but a quiet and intentional time of hearing again the "still small voice."
Katafiyio Retreat House (CY)A small traditional house in a picturesque village on the edge of the Machairas forest. A self-catering retreat house to resource those in ministry, providing a place of rest and spiritual refreshment. Available for holiday or for a structured retreat. Link Care - USALink Care is participating in the Great Commission by strengthening, equipping and counseling those who send and those who go. Link Care’s team of Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Pastoral Counselors partner together to give professional counsel and guidance for the whole person: body, soul, and spirit. Our on-campus apartments provide housing for people in the Restoration and Personal Growth Program. The length of stay varies, depending on the presenting problems and available resources. We encourage a one-month, open-ended stay that would enable additional assistance, if needed. The average stay is between 2-3 months. Over 75% of the people who come seeking help return to their ministries. God has given Link Care a passion for helping missions and missionaries be all that God created them to be and fulfill the great task of reaching our World for Jesus. The Link Care staff is able to partner with Church Denominations, Mission Organizations and Missionaries several ways: Candidate Assessment, Consultation, Restoration and Personal Growth Program, Seminars, and our Building Skills for Member Care Seminar.
The Oaks Oasis - IThttp://www.lifeimpactministries.net/ The Oaks Oasis in Italy provides a peaceful setting where you can be refreshed spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.
