Mission Encouragement Trust is offering a retreat for single missionaries who need spiritual refreshment and a break from the field. The theme of this retreat is "Living Letters".
Pilgrim Hall, Uckfield, East Sussex, UK 14 - 21 October 2010
We are hosting a retreat for single missionaries at Pilgrim Hall, a Christian Conference Centre set on a hill in heart of the East Sussex countryside. It is a quiet and secluded setting with 12 acres of private grounds - an ideal place to refresh and be renewed in the Lord!
Each missionary pays a deposit of £50 (USA $ or Euro equivalent), plus their own travel costs (international and local) to and from the retreat centre. MET raises an additional sponsorship of £315 for each missionary which pays for the retreat itself, full board. This is our gift to you.
To encourage active partnership between local church and mission agencies we raise this financial sponsorship through our own MET partners, by writing to your home congregation, and where possible approaching your mission agency - encouraging your church and mission to participate together in your care.
Participants are required to attend the whole week.
